Social Marker updates - part 2

We’ve just completed the second series of modifications in the process of updating Social Marker. You may scan through the site and try to find them yourselves, or simply read about them in this and the previous post. Again, these changes are aimed at maximizing you social bookmarking experience, so we would appreciate any feedback from you, either by leaving comments or by contacting us.

The new series of changes includes:

  • The Latest blog post snippet on our home page, so users can easily see if our blog has been updated recently
  • The new buttons in the top-right corner of our home page
  • The Home button in our blog, which redirects you to the Social Marker main page now, rather than the blog’s main page
  • Added the Wordpress Plugin button, as we are in the process of making our plugin official with Wordpress.org
  • Improved the overall performance of the site’s code
  • Fixed a few display bugs that appeared in Linux

More changes to come as we manage to implement them!

Socialmarker is broken. I keep getting a mysql error at the top of the screen, and nothing at the bottom. It’s impossible to use it.

I’ve tried testing it with different urls/tags/titles/descriptions and it always does it.

Warning: mysql_result(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /storage/www/socialmarker.com/htdocs/frames.php on line 30

  2. Social Marker is a really great tool, if somewhat limited due to spam-blocking from some sites like Digg. Thanks for the awsesome service and updates though!

  3. Thanks for the useful tool, but I really would appreciate if you could make the code HTML compliant with a view “amp;” and an “alt tag”.
    ;-) Thks

  4. Great to see you keep on updating frequently. Just started using your service last month, very useful.
