A brand new SocialMarker
For over a year, we here at SocialMarker have worked hard to improve our services, so that we may offer you the best possible social bookmarking experience. And what better way to celebrate than to announce that SocialMarker will be getting a makeover in the near future?
Yes, you’ve heard me right! Same concept - new ideas! We’re going to use all that we’ve learned in the past year to redesign our engine, yet keep our interface intact. That way we get to boost the site’s performance while maintaining that distinct SocialMarker feel. It’s still a bit too early to announce all the changes that will be made, but rest assured, we’ll be making them public as we move along.
However, since SocialMarker revolves around you, the users, we will urge you to leave comments for this post, mentioning what you would like us to improve. The main idea is to create a pleasant experience for everyone so we will consider each idea you bring to the table.
In conclusion, please take the time to analyze SocialMarker and share your view of it with us, as we may be overlooking some of its issues simply because we’re looking at it from a different perspective. Your opinion may be just what we need to make it better!
I look forward to trying it out : )
What exactly is going to be changing? Will we still be able to just move to the next/previous site? That won’t change? It will still be a semi-automatic tool driven by iframe pagination?
I’m not sure how you can improve upon that.
I just wrote a blog about how much we like SocialMarker. Check it out: http://www.adventcreative.com/submission-sites-for-seo-and-social-media
Thanks for your service. We love it.
What I think would be cool is if you could create a social marker account to remember what sites you like to submit to and so you know which pages you have submitted.
Also some of the sites don’t work anymore, could you remove them please.
Thanks a lot though, i love your service.
If you want to read a reader’s feedback
, I rate this post for four from five. Decent info, but I just have to go to that damn yahoo to find the missed parts. Thanks, anyway!
Please Please Please have the submission timed so that it doesn’t submit all at once.
If it could have a timer between submissions it would be more than helpful.
I noticed that some sites require different tags configuration (slashes, spaces, quotes, commas). It would be helpful if there were an option to replace characters to make it easier to reconfigure tags list.
Also, some sites require a very small description (200 characters). Again, there could be a “short text” box in your interface.
Thanks for a great service!
Actually, we’ve considered and approved the tags separator button, we’ll be implementing it soon. The short text box idea is new to us, but we’ll consider it. We’re glad you enjoy our service.
